This is outrageous!
CBS ch. 2 reports that "Nearly $800,000 worth of food warehoused by the Department of Education when schools were closed could end up in the garbage because it will expire before the fall."
With long lines for food throughout New York City, and schools closed to students, the New York City Department of Education has put no thought into distributing the stored food? So it will go into the garbage soon, leaving needy families hungry.
Mayoral control and incompetence.
Stop Mayoral control of the Department of Education in NYC!
